Peru, 1825
Xlliangir is a thriller set in 1825, in a young Peruvian Republic. The story is mainly set in the northern lands of Chapoñan, a settler of Muchik descent who survived the war of independence. The constant theme in this work is the contrast between ancestral culture and religious expression, within a context of transition towards “the new order.”
